The history

The vessel was build in 1899 in Holland as a coastel frighter. After a long life with different owners, the dutch province Groningen bought the Voorwaarts and did a very great refit to use the vessel as a official sailing and event boat.  In 2017, SRF Shipyard and Marina Düsseldorf bought the historic flat-bottomed vessel, and converted it into a unique event ship for the Duesseldorf Mediaharbor.

The transformation
The Voorwaarts is a striking historical eye-catcher in the design-oriented and luxurious media port. The ship is professionally marketed by an professional event company.
