"We keep the nautical heritage upright

- with a fresh breeze."

What is our core business?

Spirit of the Oceans is a joint venture between the dutch SRF Shipyard in Harlingen, and the german Houseboat consultancy and dealer Marina Düsseldorf. Both companys have a experience of over 40 years.

The goal of our joint activities, is to give historic ships such as Luxe Barges, Coastal freighters, Rescue Vessels, Ferrys, or Fishing Boats a new lease of life as a unique residential, houseboat, hotel or event boat.

Fully comfort and luxury living

on a historic ship

House and apartment prices have been exploding for years, making living on the water at international locations a real alternative. For more than 40 years, SRF has been restoring and building classic ships for highly individual and comfortable residential vessels for London, Amsterdam, southern France and other locations. The Marina Düsseldorf advises international private customers on the expansion and the search for the optimal berth.

Historic ships as event ships

Also events on the water, such as sports, restaurant, clubs, office, etc. are an attraction for every harbor.

We have worldwide contacts to unique ships.

We would be happy to make you an offer.

Historic ships as Airbnb, Boatels or Apartments

The unusual stay for hotel guests on the water has become a real trend. This is also a very interesting business model for marinas or investors. The Marina Dusseldorf has extensive know-how and business ratios, as it is even successful in this area. We are happy to prepare a site analysis, a business plan and a successful marketing concept for this exciting topic.
